I almost had us retake the pictures, because we look like droll, dum-dums bored out our gourds. But here we are anyway! It's been fun working with the fruit peeler/corer that Becca just bought (made out of metal, not plastic like we've tried to work with many decades), and the new fruit dryer she bought that works much faster than the old one we had. Our peach tree(s)...do you kids remember dumping ALL the peach pits in one place?)...are giving many peaches this year. Also the little plum tree has a lot of fruit, and Nick/Sheila said we can use all the apples from their tree we want (and many branches lean over the fence). So lots of dried apple slices this year, bottled peaches, and some plums.
How we caught each other not smiling is the question of the year...we HAVE actually been having FUN!!!

Looks like the fun that I'm having only not so much of it. Glad your trees produced lots of fruit.
